What exactly does Convolutio do?
Convolutio builds custom digital infrastructure: from database architecture and bespoke software to business automation, mobile apps and advanced web platforms. No templates or off-the-shelf packages, every system is designed around your specific processes.
What kind of companies does Convolutio work with?
Mainly small and medium-sized businesses with a concrete operational challenge: an order system that needs to connect to the till, an ERP that syncs inventory and webshop, or an app that hooks into an existing backend. From small automation projects to complete platforms.
What does a project look like, from first conversation to delivery?
After a no-obligation intake call, you'll receive a detailed quote with scope, timeline and fixed price. Once approved, the project is built in close consultation, with periodic check-ins, and tested before delivery. After going live, a bug-fix period of at least 30 days follows.
How is a fixed price determined?
After the intake call we analyze your project and prepare a detailed quote with scope, timeline and fixed price. You know upfront exactly what you're getting and what it costs, no open-ended bills.
What if the project grows during development?
Additions outside the original scope are always discussed first and quoted separately. Nothing is built or invoiced without your approval.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. We typically invoice in two or three installments: a deposit at the start, an optional midway payment, and a final payment upon delivery.
Do I keep ownership of the source code and data?
Yes. Upon full payment, the source code and all project data transfer to your ownership. You're never dependent on a single party to keep going with your system.
Is support included after delivery?
Every project comes with a bug-fix period of at least 30 days after launch. After that you can choose a monthly maintenance contract or ongoing development billed by the hour.
Do you also work remotely, outside North Holland?
Absolutely. Convolutio is based in Hoorn, but projects are carried out across the whole of the Netherlands, and internationally. Communication happens by video call, phone or email; an on-site meeting can always be arranged if needed.
Do you also work with small budgets?
The minimum project size is €850 excl. VAT for automation projects and €1,250 for websites. For larger challenges we always start with a no-obligation call to determine what fits best.
How quickly will I hear back?
Usually within 1 business day. For urgent questions you can also call or message us directly; that's often faster than email.
